In April 2016 the LLC was approved by the state of Nebraska. Following this approval, the Registered Investment Advisory and operations were set up to take on the first client. On May 24, 2016, the first client account transferred. What a ride it has been! No one is exaggerating when they say that being an entrepreneur is a roller coaster ride. Being an entrepreneur whose business is tied to the stock market makes for even more interesting and, at times, gut-wrenching twists and turns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A huge thank you to all of my clients who have trusted me and supported the business success during these first years.&nbsp; Please look for a five year celebration here in Omaha this summer. I cannot wait to celebrate with you! For out-of-town clients, we\u2019ll arrange a nice alternative \u201cthank you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When starting the business, I was going to be happy if a handful of families trusted me with their finances and investments. If I could manage $10 million in assets and help these families achieve their financial goals I was going to be happy. The actual growth and success that has been achieved has far exceeded my expectations. Today, the firm sits just shy of $25 million in assets and growing. Business owners had told me that growth will be up and down for several years, but at year five the business will start to take off. How right they were!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving from investment management to working directly with clients has provided so many opportunities for joy. I love working with clients through so many of their personal milestones. The variety of successes across clients are all gratifying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Retirees taking trips and enjoying life with family and friends.<\/li><li>Young families setting themselves up for success, buying their first house and having children.<\/li><li>Clients eliminating debt and beginning a strong cycle of saving.<\/li><li>Working with clients to research companies and stocks from a different perspective.<\/li><li>Setting up clients for a successful transfer of wealth.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking forward, I am excited to be a part of your lives by helping to secure your financial future. My focus is on ensuring that your financial needs are met through in-depth financial planning and solid, diversified investment portfolios. Together, I am focused on growing our relationships and growing assets under management through existing assets. Any new growth is icing on the cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My focus has, and always will be, on putting my existing clients first. Your trust in me is genuinely appreciated. It is not taken lightly.
