Amy will be a permanent member of the team filling the role of Director of Operations. Amy and I previously worked together for several years and I have the utmost trust and confidence in her experience and integrity. I am so excited for her to join me in serving you and helping secure your financial future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michela is moving on to pursue career opportunities more in line with her goals. I can\u2019t thank Michela enough for her contributions and am excited for her to embrace her career passions. She will be a valuable asset to those she works with in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a little bit from Amy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>My name is Amy Vance and I am very excited to be working alongside J.J. at Schenkelberg Investments. J.J. and I worked together several years ago and we have the same strong core beliefs and values. I have been in the financial industry since 2005.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I grew up in Columbus, NE, and graduated from University of Nebraska\u2013Kearney with a double major in Business Administration and Mathematics. After college, I moved to Houston and worked for Shell Oil. In 2005 I decided to move back to Omaha and start working in the financial services industry. I have worked at a large life and variable annuity company, a 3<sup>rd<\/sup> party money manager and a local wealth management firm.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I have been married to my husband, Mark, since 2007 and we have two beautiful daughters, Ella and Lanie. We love to travel and spend time with family but most of all we love to watch the girls compete playing softball and volleyball and swimming.
